Renowned FIFA esports player Harry Hesketh was dragged off the pitch by a security guard after joining in with Hashtag United’s FA Cup celebrations.

The team, which started its existence as an amateur side for YouTubers, beat Soham Town Rangers 4-2 on penalties in the competition’s first qualifying round on Monday.

Hesketh, whose YouTube channel has over half a million subscribers, ran onto the field at the Len Salmon Stadium but was swiftly dealt with.

There has been some controversy about the apparent lack of social distancing in the crowd at the game, especially with new restrictions being announced.
